SOCIAL NETWORKING AND PRIDE COMMITTEE

The Social Networking and Pride Committee, is looking for Volunteers. We are a group of individuals in the community who meet monthly to organize social events for the LGBTT2IQQAA community of Halton. It is a great way to have a voice in the community, and be actively involved in creating safe space for us all.

Although we host several events a year; our "Party of the Year" is PRIDE! The SNAP committee plans, organizes, and runs PRIDE. Most of our fundraising efforts are directed at providing PRIDE celebrations free of charge to everyone.

We have organized bowling, theatre, dinners out, brunches, tree trimming, camping, pot lucks, movie nights, and the list goes on. If you have an idea, and would like to help, we usually meet at 6pm, just before coffee night, once a month. Email us directly for our next meeting. OF course we are usually all at every HOPE event as well. It's a great way to have a voice, and to meet some really great people in the community.
